Oliver graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Management, one of the best undergraduate business schools in the nation.  Oliver then attended law school at the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law, now part of the PAC 10, where he graduated in 2005.  Upon graduation, Oliver passed both the Nevada and Utah State Bars  and worked as an attorney in Utah representing Fortune 500 companies in antitrust and mass tort litigation.

In 2007, Oliver returned to Las Vegas and clerked for a Federal Judge in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.  After completing his Federal Clerkship, Oliver joined a nationally ranked law firm where he practiced insurance defense.  In 2010, Oliver joined CHRISTENSEN LAW OFFICES to better help and serve the Las Vegas community.  Oliver's previous work experience includes working in the insurance and re-insurance business industry.  This places Oliver in a unique and beneficial position when advocating for his clients.

Oliver is a first-generation El Salvadorian, fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese, Italian and French.  Understanding the sacrifice his parents made by leaving the then war-torn El Salvador to enjoy the freedoms of the United States, Oliver prides himself in being a part of the Latin American Community and zealously advocates for the rights of the harmed and underserved.
